Well its been a long, long  journey seems like a century packed into the blink of Gods Eye, 2 years have swiftly blown by since the terminal diagnosis of my sweet Alice  , (the nickname shes had for the nearly 20 yrs we've been together) The winds of change have no regard for human feeling. The trail has been peaks and valleys, like that you may encounter climbing Everest, or falling, from heaven above. The conversations have covered everything from LIFE NOW, to long ago, laughter and remembering, to out-right sobbing and sorrow so deep as if carving the Grand Canyons, the choices of children and dreams , or graduations and relationships, weddings and babies, and all the souls desires not usually discussed , just LIVED and Breathed.

But... so our romance takes an unexpected detour from the norm and here a new chapter unfolds. 

Starting our new cancer lives in Houston, Texas. with Dr Stanislaw Burzynski the Dr. who first gave us a glimmer, and a possible hopeful breathe of freedom, even if ever so slight, and the excruciating realization that we .. with our oh so simple means could never afford the mind numbing costs of what was proposed. We found ourselves at a unconscionable, blinding crossroads. Unable to raise the funds projected to begin and sustain this treatment, our tethered souls longed for an answer, something in which we could grasp with Gods help and understanding, anything to lesson the pain of that at wich we were enduring.

We soon found Cancer Treatment Centers Of America, a group of people with Gods love flowing through there every vein, the were astonishing, loving, nuturing, and all down to the humble drivers seem to be hand chosen as angels in their cause. Dr Willis a sensational professional, continued the open and non instatutional thought of gene therapy, as opposed to blanket liver chemo that had been our alternative at the conventional facilitys we had screened with prior to.
